Alongside Bartram’s Garden, we took a deep dive to get to know our beloved Schuylkill River. From its history to the impacts of pollution and recent climate change, the river endured a lot and has been a huge part of our city. In this research, we focused on the water quality issues and brought them to life through illustrations, a live data dashboard built by Waterborn Environmental, and interpretive graphs on Batram’s website. Take a look at the link below to understand what we learned and why water quality data is important in our access to river-based activities.
